Baoluwei polymer cast-in-situ diamond blind path is a continuous blind path made by inorganic high-strength polymer material combined with special die, which is based on the existing road surface by cast-in-situ method. It can be divided into two types: guide strip and guide blind spot. The standard width is 300 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm. It can also be customized flexibly according to actual needs. It has permanent bonding force with asphalt concrete or cement concrete base, abrasion resistance, anti-skid, anti-fouling, and synchronous expansion with asphalt pavement.


Construction Technology and Operation Method

Baoluwei polymer cast-in-situ diamond blind road is a new type of blind road technology, which can be constructed on the traditional black asphalt concrete and grey cement concrete pavement.

2.1 Construction Process

2.2 Construction Equipment and Tools
The construction technology of diamond blind road is relatively simple. Only one mixer, one disperser, several blind road moulds, one material transporter, one roller, one special toothed rubber scraper and one flat rubber scraper, one strong clean blower, one generator and one broom are needed.
2.3 Construction personnel:
A group of 1 team leader, 5 to 6 construction workers.
2.4 Construction preparation
2.4.1 Drawing
Read the construction drawings carefully and check the corresponding positions one by one with the site. Put some strings and sidebands when necessary.

2.4.2 Material Inspection
The polymer cast-in-place diamond blind channel is a field construction ground with multi process and multi material coordination. The consistency of materials and compatibility of various materials should be checked before construction. The emulsion material should have no obvious abnormal conditions such as crust, caking and suspension.

2.4.3 Trial preparation of samples
The curing time of the leachate polymer diamond blind road can be affected by different base and environment. Therefore, the mix ratio and method set by batch operation should be strictly debugged before the formal construction, and batch operation can be carried out without obvious defects in the curing process.

2.4.4 Basic Conditions and Disposal
The grass-roots units should be strong and clean. Asphalt concrete pavement should not be flooded, floating dust, delamination, granulation and other phenomena.
The strength of concrete pavement of cement concrete pavement is not less than C25. At the same time, the surface should be treated by milling, chipping, grinding, sandblasting or grouting (new poured concrete). It is appropriate to expose aggregate in a large area. On this basis, PM-101 permeable sealant should be used to seal 1-2 passages.
Clean, dry asphalt pavement with good road function does not need to be sealed.


2.5 Construction Environment Requirements
(1) The curing temperature of polymer cast-in-situ diamond blind channel material shall not be lower than 5 C. The curing reaction speed of polymer under this temperature will rapidly decrease, even without chemical reaction or partial incomplete reaction, which will lead to the pavement performance of the color pavement paved by it not up to the standard, so the environmental temperature of its construction shall not be lower than 5 C.
(2) Baoluwei Diamond Blind Road is a natural curing material at room temperature. The ambient temperature is defined as 5-45 C. When the ambient temperature approaches the upper line of high temperature, the faster the curing drying speed is, the higher ambient temperature may make the construction difficult. Therefore, the recommended ambient temperature for construction is 10-35 C.
(3) Baoluwei Diamond Blind Road is a water-based environmental protection material, which requires more relaxed humidity than solvent materials. But when the relative humidity of air is 100%, its internal moisture can not volatilize, resulting in non-curing or drying curing abnormally slow, so the recommended environmental humidity is between 50% and 90%. Above this humidity, especially at lower temperatures (below 10 C), surface hardness may decrease, whitening, loss of gloss, sticking and Re-sticking may occur.
(4) Construction should be carried out in good weather, such as no rain, snow, strong wind (wind force less than 5), sand and dust.
(5) The surface drying time of Blind Path material of Baoluwei Diamond is 6 hours at normal temperature (10-35 degrees Celsius) and 18 hours for complete drying. Surface sealant surface drying time is 1 hour, in this period if there is sudden rain or artificial wetting, or construction at night condensation conditions, will cause construction failure, depending on the specific situation may need to take rework, overlay, multiple sealing measures to deal with.

Construction steps


3.1 Cleaning and Disposal of Pavement
The pavement that needs to be paved is enclosed with a reflective cone or other warning guardrail, and then the debris, other garbage and floating dust on the pavement are cleaned to a clean state. The old pavement must be cleaned by a strong fan. Note: Construction pavement should not have open water or excessive moisture, too wet pavement will greatly reduce the adhesion of polymer to the pavement, seriously affecting the quality of construction.
3.2 Diamond Blind Path Production
Diamond blind road materials are supplied in a two-component form of powder. They must be mixed with a mixer or disperser to form a uniform slurry and then spread to the ground. The mixture is mixed by mixing powder and emulsion. The stirring time is usually 60-90 seconds. Depending on the type of mixer and the way of mixing, the appropriate mixing time will be different.
(1) mix ratio of base leveling slurry: powder 100kg, single component liquid 25kg.
(2) blind road structure layer mixture ratio: powder 100kg, emulsion (A:B=1:4) 25kg, water 3-4kg, stir the base material slurry to make the base of the blind road, then lay the blind path mold after the surface dry, fill the mold material of the polymer diamond blind path, press it flat and lift the light, then lift the mold horizontally, clean the mould water and wipe it clean without water.
(3) Distribution of the traveling blind road and the suggestive blind road is made according to the designated position of the drawing.
3.3 Silicofluorine Sealant Surface Layer
The last process after the polymer cast-in-situ diamond blind channel is spraying or rolling silicon-fluorine sealant. The color of sealant is usually yellow. The sealed pavement will have better color retention, pollution resistance, self-cleaning and ultraviolet resistance.

Acceptance

Acceptance standard for polymer cast-in-place diamond blind road surface

The finished polymer cast-in-situ diamond blind channel should meet the following performance indicators:
(a) Walking blind road: parallel strip shape, 4-5mm above the pavement surface and 0.40m in width, which makes the blind wand and sole of foot produce tactile sensation, and guides the visually disabled to walk along the pavement longitudinally and safely;
B) Suggest that the blind passage is uniformly distributed in the shape of dots, 4 mm-5 mm higher than the surface of the passage, and its width should be the same as that of the blind passage, so that the blind stick and the sole of the foot can produce tactile sensation, so as to remind the visual disabled that the forward travel conditions will change.
